Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate and supervise a team of skilled workers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and designers to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of construction plans.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Manage project schedules, including material procurement, subcontractor coordination, and progress tracking.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any issues or potential risks.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, change orders, and project updates.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a carpenter in the construction industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Thorough knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Ability to problem-solve and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.


Salary and Benefits

  • Salary at $30.00 - $35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
